In October 2015, after a number of years of learning from and becoming friends with him, Miss Gen was given the title of Deshi to Kazami Ranki, and permission to teach his style of Shibari in Australia. Since this time Miss Gen has built Kazami-Ryu up into the largest school of Shibari in Australasia, with official instructors running regular classes in Brisbane, Perth, Auckland and Christchurch!
